Riisi on aina uponnut hyvin meid\u00e4n perheess\u00e4 mutta usein tuskailin mit\u00e4 kastiketta siihen kylkeen laittaisi. Testasin sen jo puolestasi \u2013 eik\u00e4 se toimi t\u00e4ss\u00e4 reseptiss\u00e4! Jasminriisi on toinen vaihtoehto, jos basmatiriisi\u00e4 ei ole saatavilla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vaikka valkoset riisit ovatkin ravinteiltaan k\u00f6yhempi\u00e4 kuin kokojyv\u00e4riisit, basmatiriisin puolesta puhuu sen kohtuullinen glykeeminenindeksi (GI). Basmatiriisi sulaa elimist\u00f6ss\u00e4mme hitaammin kuin tavallinen valkoinen riisi. Se pit\u00e4\u00e4 verensokerin tasaisempana pidemp\u00e4\u00e4n ja energia virtaa lihaksiin tasaisempaan tahtiin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Taatelit tuovat reseptiin mukavan makean vivahteen, eik\u00e4 riisi ole sama ilman sit\u00e4. Vaikka reseptien tuunaaminen onkin antoisaa, eik\u00e4 kaapista aina l\u00f6ydy juuri sit\u00e4 oikeaa ainesta, \u00e4l\u00e4 korvaa taateleita esim. rusinoilla tai aprikoosilla.
